Winter Growth Necklace no.2

Winter Growth Necklace no.2 is handcrafted from sterling and fine silver with a drop of brass, and features a high-grade and beautiful piece of Kyanite alongside a cast sterling silver Wildflower. The stone has a wonderful flash of icy blue tones within it, looking different from every angle.

The stone has been set in plain bezel wire and then soldered on to a layer of thick sterling silver sheet that has been imprinted with a real leaf on the reverse. A drop off brass has been soldered to the bottom of the pendant. A makers mark has been soldered to the back.

Winter can be a tough season. I have had these cast sterling silver wildflowers for some time and thought they would be the perfect symbol that even in the depths of Winter, there is still hope.
