Short Cedar Earrings
One of my favourite things to do when walking my dogs, is to look along the forest floor, gathering inspiration and searching for hidden treasures. These Cedar cones had fallen from a Leyland Cypress, one of my favourite trees, and I thought they would make a perfect pair of earrings.
Lost wax cast cedar cones, dangly chain and handmade earring wires. All elements are sterling silver.
These earrings are so lightweight that you can barely tell you're wearing them, until they tickle the base of your neck. The perfect earrings for forest dwellers and woodland lovers.
Earring length: 6.5 cm (from the top of the earring wire)
Cedar cone width: 0.8 cm
Cedar cone origin: Wilverley Inclosure, New Forest National Park, Hampshire, United Kingdom
