Autumn Leaves Necklace

This Autumn Leaves Pendant is handcrafted from sterling and fine silver and features a high-grade and beautiful piece of Dendritic Agate. The stone has distinct markings within it that resemble Autumn foliage in oranges and dark browns.

The stone has been set in plain bezel wire and then soldered on to a layer of thick sterling silver sheet. Cast sterling silver twigs have been shaped and soldered around the stone.

Oak leaves have been hand fabricated, textured and hung from the bottom of the stone. Each leaf features a splash of 23.5ct gold foil, applied with the Keum Boo technique.

The back of the pendant has been textured with a leaf and fern design, and a makers mark has then been soldered on to the back. The bail has been made with a cast twig that has been foraged in the New Forest.

This piece has been given a patina to add depth. Please keep away from water to ensure the patina lasts a long time.
